OLD RITUALS FOR A NEW SOCIETY

Because of the pandemic, I am learning new ways to celebrate with and grieve for loved ones over distance. I am marking time through my body. This butoh performance explores the human milestones of birth, puberty, graduation, aging, death, and more.

A reflection on love as a revolutionary act. Placing the artist’s body at the intersection of installation, interactive art, and performance. Inviting the audience to become co-creators in a fleeting act of art and connection.
